Istanbul, January 19 – Mastercard has officially launched its Fast Track service in Istanbul, marking a global first for the premium card offering and ushering in a new era for travel standards in Turkey.
According to official data shared by the company, the Fast Track service, a critical component of Mastercard’s comprehensive Mastercard Collection program announced across the EEMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region, has commenced operations at Istanbul Airport.
This new facility enables Mastercard World Legend and qualifying Mastercard World Elite cardholders, along with their guests, to significantly expedite their journeys. They will benefit from seamless passage through passport control areas at Istanbul Airport, without any waiting times.
This exclusive advantage is not limited to Turkish cardholders; all global Mastercard Collection members visiting Istanbul Airport with eligible cards can also benefit from this service.
A Strategic Milestone in Global Tourism
The launch of this service in Istanbul for the first time globally is considered a significant milestone for Mastercard, underscoring both Turkey’s status as a global travel destination and its strategic importance in world tourism.
The company chose Istanbul as the primary location among all global points to implement this high-level privilege, which is assigned to special cards bearing the relevant logo. To utilize this system, World Legend and selected World Elite cardholders worldwide only need to register their card information once on the Mastercard Travel Pass mobile application.
Digital Reservation for Fast and Unlimited Access
Users can easily reserve their desired time slot for the Mastercard Fast Track point via the application before their planned flight. After completing the reservation, travelers present a personalized QR code generated by the mobile application to staff at Mastercard-branded Fast Track points at the airport, allowing them to instantly use the service.
According to the details, World Legend cardholders can use this exclusive facility at Istanbul Airport an unlimited number of times and can bring up to three guests with them on each passage. Selected World Elite cardholders can benefit from this service within the limits of the special card programs offered by their respective banks.
