The Significance of Umrah

Umrah is an Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, performed by Muslims that can be undertaken at any time of the year. It is often referred to as the ‘minor pilgrimage’ and involves a series of rituals including circumambulating the Kaaba (Tawaf) and performing the ritual walk between the hills of Safa and Marwah (Sa’i). For many, it represents a profound spiritual experience and a chance to strengthen their faith.

Community Support and Future Departures

The organized departure of such a significant group highlights the strong community ties within Nallıhan and the consistent efforts of the District Mufti’s Office in facilitating religious observances. Such organized pilgrimages are common in Turkey, providing a structured and supportive environment for individuals wishing to perform Umrah.

Further details regarding potential future Umrah departures or other religious events organized by the District Mufti’s Office will be announced through official channels. The successful organization of this event reflects the dedication of local authorities and religious institutions to cater to the spiritual needs of the community.
