Turkish Handball Federation Celebrates 50th Anniversary in Ankara

The Turkish Handball Federation (THF) commemorated its 50th year with a special gala night in Ankara. The event, held at the Prof. Dr. Yaşar Sevim Handball Federation building, was attended by THF President Mesut Çebi, federation executives, former and current athletes, coaches, and other distinguished guests.

A Look Back at 50 Years of Handball

The gala featured a 50th-anniversary documentary showcasing the THF’s past achievements. Special awards were also presented to individuals who have contributed significantly to Turkish handball over the past five decades.

THF President Outlines Future Vision

In his address, THF President Mesut Çebi emphasized the federation’s goal of reaching European standards through technical advancements, new organizations, and improvements. “With increased international representation, Turkish handball will reach a good position in the near future. We are already working towards this. We hope to leave a great legacy for our children, coaches, clubs, and future administrators,” Çebi stated.
