Ankara – Justice Minister Akın Gürlek met with Nevşehir Governor Ali Fidan and a delegation of Nevşehir Members of Parliament in Ankara. The meeting, held in the Ministry, saw discussions regarding the challenges and potential of Nevşehir, a province with significant tourism potential.
Minister Gürlek: “Nevşehir is Our Homeland”
During the reception, Minister Gürlek expressed his pleasure in hosting the Nevşehir delegation in Ankara. He highlighted that this marks the first time in 33 years that a minister from Nevşehir has served in the cabinet. Gürlek affirmed his close interest in the issues facing Nevşehir, stating, “I want to express my satisfaction at hosting you in our Ministry here in Ankara. Nevşehir is our homeland. I grew up in those lands, drank its water. One should not forget the place they were born and raised. We will not forget Nevşehir. My fellow citizens have a door to knock on when they come to Ankara. This is a gain for us. We will do whatever is necessary for our homeland. We are already in constant consultation with our esteemed Governor.”

Minister Gürlek also expressed his desire to break the Ramadan fast with his fellow citizens from Nevşehir in the early days of the holy month. He further emphasized Nevşehir’s global tourism potential, underscoring its importance for the region and the country.
