Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş met with citizens at an iftar program in Sincan. According to a statement from the ABB, Yavaş attended the “Capital of Goodness Iftar Program” held in a wedding hall in Sincan.

During the program, Mayor Yavaş addressed the attendees, stating, “We are striving to serve the people of Ankara, all our fellow citizens, without discrimination, as much as we can, and we will continue to serve until the end of our term.”
Yavaş announced that after the Ramadan Bayram, they would meet with mukhtars and non-governmental organizations to address any shortcomings. He further elaborated on the rapid development in Ankara:
“Because a zoning plan sufficient for 13-14 million people has been made in Ankara, every area is rapidly growing with constructions. It is impossible to recognize Yenikent from a few years ago to now. Similarly, it is impossible to recognize the vicinity of Törekent and the Organized Industrial Zone. There is rapid construction, and we are trying to keep up with all of it. For this reason, we certainly have some deficiencies, but we will try to complete as much as our strength allows in the shortest possible time.”

Yavaş also touched upon international issues, stating that Israel and the United States continue to kill Muslims. He expressed his dismay at the lack of response from developed countries regarding the humanitarian crisis:
“While 50,000 people are dying in Gaza, there has been no sound from many of the so-called civilized, developed countries. Those who died there, the children, were not treated as human beings. Now, in this war, 160 children were killed with the first bomb dropped there.”
