ISTANBUL, (DHA) – Six people were injured in a four-vehicle chain collision in Arnavutköy, Istanbul, and were subsequently taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Details of the Accident
The accident took place today at approximately 4:00 PM on Gazi Fahrettin Paşa Street, in the direction of Habipler. According to initial reports, a van with plate number 34 EED 483, driven by Emirhan A., lost control and collided with the rear of a light commercial vehicle with plate number 06 FT 8213, operated by Yusuf T., which was traveling in front of it.
The impact caused the light commercial vehicle (06 FT 8213) to swerve and hit a car with plate number 34 AGE 87, driven by Yılmaz Ç., which was moving in the middle lane. The chain reaction continued as the vehicle with plate number 34 AGE 87 then collided with a car with plate number 34 TK 3355, driven by Yaşar B., which was in the leftmost lane.
Six People Injured
Emergency medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene following reports from bystanders. During checks by health teams, it was determined that Muhammet Salih T., Zeynep T., Muhammet Süleyman T., Şeyma T., Muhsap T., and İsmail T., who were passengers in the vehicles, sustained minor injuries. All six injured individuals were transported by ambulance to Arnavutköy State Hospital for treatment.
Aftermath and Investigation
The vehicles involved in the accident were removed from the scene by tow trucks. Traffic flow on Gazi Fahrettin Paşa Street, which had experienced congestion due to the accident, returned to normal after the removal of the vehicles. Police teams have launched an investigation into the accident to determine its exact cause and circumstances.
