Retired Soldier Kills Family Members, Commits Suicide in Ankara

Ankara, April 8 – A tragic incident unfolded in the Sincan district of Ankara, where a retired non-commissioned officer, identified as R.B., opened fire on his family before taking his own life. The event resulted in three fatalities and one injury.

According to information obtained, an argument erupted between R.B. and his family members for reasons yet unknown. As the dispute escalated, R.B. used a handgun to shoot his wife, D.B., and his daughters, I.N.B. and S.B.

Three Lives Lost in Tragic Incident

Following the armed assault, R.B., his wife D.B., and his daughter I.N.B. died at the scene. His other daughter, S.B., who was injured in the incident, was transported to the hospital after receiving initial medical attention from emergency teams.

Assailant Commits Suicide

After opening fire on his family, R.B. committed suicide with the same weapon. A large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the area, and crime scene investigation teams immediately began their work.

Investigation Launched

The Ankara Western Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that two public prosecutors have been assigned to the case, and a comprehensive investigation is underway. The incident has caused significant grief and shock in the region, and further details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
