Üsküdar, April 12 – A boat sank after colliding with a ship anchored at Haydarpaşa Port in Üsküdar. The incident, which took place around 9:00 PM near Selimiye, saw all five individuals on board safely rescued. There were no reported casualties or injuries.

Details of the Incident

According to initial information, the boat went out of control for an undetermined reason and crashed into a ship that was moored at Haydarpaşa Port. The impact caused significant damage to the boat, leading it to take on water rapidly.

Upon receiving the distress call, police, fire, and coast guard teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. Thanks to the swift intervention of the emergency services, the five people on the boat were successfully evacuated to safety. The damaged boat subsequently sank completely.
