This strategic new center, located in Ataşehir, Istanbul, consolidates previously separate Food and Nutrition, Beauty and Personal Care, and Paint and Construction Laboratories into a single, enhanced facility with expanded capabilities and technical equipment.
New Pharmaceutical Laboratory Established
A significant addition to the new Technical Center is the establishment of a Pharmaceutical Laboratory, the first of its kind within IMCD Turkey. This laboratory will not only serve the local market but also function as a regional hub for the Middle East, Maghreb, Egypt, Kenya, and South Africa. Enhanced Formulation Development and Support
The development activities at the new Pharmaceutical Laboratory will encompass solid, liquid, and semi-solid dosage forms. It will also focus on the integration of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) into formulation development processes, providing comprehensive formulation support to customers. This enables clients to receive support for more complex development projects. All development activities are conducted using a risk-based approach, aligning with internationally recognized guidelines. Analytical method development, a critical part of the product development process, is carried out according to Quality by Design (QbD) principles to ensure robustness and reproducibility.
