Ankara, May 12 – Justice Minister Akın Gürlek declared that 15,000 contract personnel will be employed within the justice organization. This announcement was made via his social media account, following a previous statement by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Recruitment to Strengthen Justice Organization
Minister Gürlek stated, “We are carrying out the recruitment of 15,000 contract personnel to be employed within our justice organization, as announced by our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.” He further elaborated that the recruitment drive will cover both central and provincial organizations, aiming to significantly strengthen the human resources of the justice system.
The Minister confirmed that the entire recruitment process is planned to be finalized within the year 2026. This initiative is expected to address staffing needs and enhance the operational capacity of the judicial system.
Diverse Roles to Be Filled Across the Organization
The recruitment encompasses a wide range of positions to support various functions within the justice organization. The announced quotas for key roles include:
- 5,259 court clerks
- 4,508 enforcement and correctional officers
- 1,300 support staff
- 1,041 bailiffs
- 900 enforcement clerks
- 524 protection and security officers
- 410 psychologists
- 322 technicians
- 316 office staff
- 286 nurses
- 90 social workers
In addition to these, 44 other different job titles will be filled, demonstrating the comprehensive nature of this recruitment effort.

Minister Gürlek extended his gratitude to President Erdoğan for his support in allocating the necessary cadres for the justice organization. “I wish this to be beneficial for our justice organization, our judicial community, and our nation, and I express my gratitude to our President for his support in allocating the cadres needed by our judicial organization,” he stated.
This large-scale recruitment is anticipated to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the justice system across Turkey, particularly in Ankara, where many central administrative functions are based.
