Car Plummets from Sıhhiye Bridge in Ankara, One Injured
Ankara, May 21 – A car lost control and fell from the Sıhhiye Bridge onto the road below in Ankara’s Çankaya district, resulting in one injury. The accident, which occurred around 8:00 PM, briefly closed the road to traffic.

The incident took place when a car, with license plate 06 DNF 488, driven by H.H., lost control on the Sıhhiye Bridge, located in the Kızılay area. The vehicle collided with the barriers before plummeting from the bridge onto Atatürk Boulevard.
Eyewitnesses immediately reported the accident, prompting the dispatch of medical, fire, and police teams to the scene. The driver, H.H., was extracted from the severely damaged vehicle and, after initial medical intervention at the site, was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
Road Closure and Investigation
The wreckage of the car, which was described as a ‘heap of iron,’ was later removed with the help of a tow truck. The accident led to a temporary closure of Atatürk Boulevard, causing minor disruptions to traffic flow.
