Türk Telekom and Haber-İş Union Conclude Collective Bargaining Agreement

Ankara, 23 May – Türkiye Haber-İş Union and Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. have successfully finalized negotiations for the 16th Term Collective Bargaining Agreement, which will be valid from March 1, 2026, to February 29, 2028. The negotiation process, which commenced on February 5, 2026, concluded yesterday, May 22, 2026, with the signing of the agreement.

Significant Improvements in Wages and Social Rights

According to a statement released by the union, the agreement secures substantial improvements in both wages and social benefits for employees. For the first six months, an average wage increase of 24 percent has been agreed upon, with an additional 8 percent increase to be applied starting September 1. This will result in a cumulative wage increase of 33.92 percent for 2026.

Social benefits have also seen significant adjustments. The meal allowance has been raised from 400 TL to 550 TL, and clothing assistance has increased from 5,500 TL to 9,000 TL. Marriage and birth allowances have been boosted from 19,000 TL to 30,000 TL. Additionally, holiday bonuses will see a 37.50 percent increase, with 17,875 TL to be paid before both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.

The union emphasized that the signed agreement strengthens the economic and social rights of employees and will contribute to industrial peace.
