Elderly Woman Found Dead in Her Home in Istanbul’s Şişli District

Istanbul, May 31 – An 80-year-old woman, Havva A., who had not been heard from for an extended period, was discovered dead in her home in the Şişli district of Istanbul. The incident occurred on Hark Street in the Mecidiyeköy neighborhood.

Neighbors Alert Authorities After Long Silence

According to information obtained, neighbors of Havva A., who lived alone on the first floor of a five-story building, notified authorities after being unable to reach her for a significant time. In response to the report, police and health teams were dispatched to the address.

Upon entering the residence, the teams found Havva A. motionless in her room. Health officials confirmed that the elderly woman had passed away. Following initial investigations at the scene, Havva A.’s body was transported to Zincirlikuyu Cemetery for burial.

Investigation Underway

Police teams are continuing their investigation into the incident to determine the exact circumstances surrounding Havva A.’s death. Further details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
