Ankara, June 2, 2026 – Mustafa Göksu Davarcı, a young entrepreneur, has made a remarkable transition from urban life to natural farming in his hometown of Güdül, Ankara. Davarcı, an alumnus of Middle East Technical University (METU) and Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ), realized that metropolitan life was making him unhappy. He decided to leave his career and city life behind to return to Güdül, where he embarked on a journey of natural and additive-free production. With the support of his family, Davarcı established a jujube orchard, quickly becoming a notable success story through his commitment to pesticide-free farming.

His venture, which began with jujube production, has expanded significantly. “In addition to jujube molasses, marmalade, and vinegar, we have started producing pine cone and mulberry molasses, as well as orange and strawberry fruit leathers. Our primary goal is to prioritize naturalness at every stage of production,” Davarcı explained. He emphasized that he has never used chemical pesticides in his orchard, stating, “I have never introduced pesticides to my garden. All our products are prepared using additive-free and natural methods.”

Boosting Local Economy and Inspiring Youth

Davarcı noted that the increasing interest in healthy and natural products further motivates him. He personally oversees every stage of production and communicates directly with customers, explaining the preparation process of his products. Earning consumer trust is his greatest satisfaction, and he takes pride in delivering natural and additive-free products to tables with peace of mind. Davarcı also urged young people to engage in production in their hometowns, aiming to distribute his local products throughout Turkey.

Nafiz Özyılmaz, President of the Güdül Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, expressed strong support for young entrepreneurs in the district.
