Turgut Ünal, Deputy Provincial Director of National Education, underscored that children’s development should not be solely measured by academic success. He stressed the significance of evaluating their physical, mental, and social growth as integral components of their overall development.

Promoting Healthy Lifestyles and Health Literacy

Serap Yılmaz, District Director of National Education, explained that the project aims to instill healthy lifestyle habits in children and enhance their health literacy levels. This initiative seeks to empower children with the knowledge and practices necessary for a healthy life.

Aytekin Kuleli, District Health Director, reinforced this sentiment, stating that a healthy future is only achievable through physically, mentally, and socially healthy individuals. His remarks highlighted the comprehensive approach of the project towards well-being.

Following the speeches, students actively participated in various activities by visiting the exhibition stands, engaging with the project’s themes in an interactive manner.

“Health Ambassador” Certificates Awarded

The program concluded with the awarding of “health ambassador” certificates to the participating students. This recognition aims to encourage children to take an active role in promoting health within their communities and among their peers.
