Ankara, June 14 – Search efforts are continuing for Arif Uysal (79), who went mushroom picking in the Çukurören Plateau area of Beypazarı district, Ankara, and has not returned since. Although the mushrooms he collected have been found, Uysal himself has not yet been located.
Search Initiated After Disappearance
Arif Uysal, a resident of Karaşar Neighborhood, left to collect mushrooms in the Çukurören Plateau on the previous day around noon and did not return. His relatives, unable to reach him, reported the situation to the gendarmerie.
Upon receiving the report, gendarmerie and AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Authority) search and rescue teams, along with volunteers, launched a search operation in the region. The search has been ongoing for three days.
Mushrooms Found, Uysal Still Missing
Despite the extensive search, Uysal has not yet been reached. However, the mushrooms he had collected were found during the operation. Authorities have indicated that the search efforts will continue until nightfall.
