Istanbul, June 29 – A 60-year-old man, Erol Ş., was critically injured after being stabbed three times and beaten in the Kasımpaşa district of Beyoğlu, Istanbul, last Saturday. The incident, which took place on June 26, 2026, at approximately 10:25 AM, stemmed from allegations that Erol Ş. harassed N.T.G., a 15-year-old girl.

The altercation escalated when Zeliha Z. (29), the girl’s mother, along with the girl’s uncle Mehmet G. (29) and Zeliha Z.’s ex-husband Serkan A. (24), confronted Erol Ş. According to reports, Erol Ş. was subjected to kicks and punches. He was also struck on the head with a traffic cone and stabbed with a bread knife.
