Ankara Police Crack Down on Drug Trafficking: 29 Suspects Jailed
Ankara, March 17 – Twenty-nine individuals were formally arrested and jailed following extensive drug operations conducted by Ankara police over the past week. - 278 grams of methamphetamine
- 214 grams of cocaine
- 153 grams of synthetic drugs
- 67 grams of an unidentified substance (A.M.)
- 66 grams of heroin
- 39 grams of skunk
- 2 precision scales
- 2 handguns
- 11 handgun cartridges
- 70,620 Turkish Lira in cash
Following their detention, the 87 suspects underwent legal proceedings. Subsequently, 29 of these individuals were formally arrested and remanded to custody by the courts.
