Istanbul, May 12 – Anti-narcotics police in Istanbul have seized 92.5 kilograms of heroin during an operation targeting a van in the Bağcılar district. One suspect was apprehended in connection with the seizure, which was the result of a joint effort between the Istanbul and Hakkari Provincial Police Departments’ Anti-Narcotics Crime Branches.

Upon stopping the vehicle, officers conducted a thorough search, leading to the discovery of a large quantity of drugs. The illicit substances were found concealed within packages of shower materials in the rear of the van, a method often used by traffickers to evade detection.
