Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) has commenced traffic management efforts in front of ANKAmall AVM to mitigate congestion around shopping centers. Following similar implementations at Kentpark and Cepa AVM, the latest adjustments are being made at the ANKAmall entrance on Konya Road (Mevlana Boulevard).
New Traffic Arrangement for ANKAmall AVM
As part of the work conducted by ABB, a “delimiter and stopper application” has been completed at the Konya Road entrance of the AVM. This arrangement aims to separate vehicles entering and exiting the mall from those traveling on the main artery, thereby ensuring a safer and more orderly traffic flow.
Direct Entry from Bridge Exit Closed
Under the new regulations, the lane-separating delimiters at the end of the Mevlana Boulevard bridge have been extended towards the Ankara Provincial Police Department entrance. This measure prevents right turns from the bridge exit, effectively closing direct entries to ANKAmall AVM. The primary goal of this implementation is to reduce congestion on the main road and enhance driving safety.
ABB has announced that similar traffic flow improvements will continue to be implemented at various points across the city.
