In Kahramankazan district of Ankara, two cats affected by smoke inhalation from a house fire were brought back to life by medical teams who performed CPR and administered oxygen.

Fire Breaks Out in Kahramankazan Apartment

The incident occurred in a five-story apartment building on Kordon Street in Atatürk Mahallesi, where a fire broke out due to an electrical short circuit in a second-floor apartment. The homeowner, Nurcan Akbaş, and her son managed to evacuate the building and immediately notified the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Emergency Services Respond Swiftly

Firefighters, medical teams, and police were dispatched to the scene. Fire crews successfully rescued the two cats, named Paytak and Şanslı, who were trapped inside the burning house, and handed them over to the waiting medical personnel.

Cats Revived with CPR and Oxygen

The medical teams promptly administered heart massage and oxygen to the smoke-affected cats, successfully reviving them. The homeowner watched the intervention on her beloved pets with tears in her eyes, a testament to the emotional impact of the event.

The fire was brought under control and extinguished in a short time, but a section of the house was rendered uninhabitable due to the damage. The swift response of the emergency services ensured that there were no human casualties and that the pets received critical care.
