Istanbul, January 10 – A traffic accident involving one car and two light commercial vehicles in Istanbul’s Arnavutköy district left one person injured. The incident took place on Fatih Street in Mustafa Kemal Paşa Mahallesi.
Details of the Accident
According to reports, a car with license plate 34 LL 6032 veered onto the median strip. Subsequently, it collided with a light commercial vehicle, license plate 34 AKP 494, which was traveling in the same direction. The impact caused the 34 AKP 494 vehicle to then strike another light commercial vehicle, license plate 34 MVK 719, which was parked on the side of the road.
The driver of the initial car sustained injuries in the collision. Emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene, where they provided initial treatment to the injured driver before transporting them to a hospital by ambulance.
Security Camera Footage Confirms Incident
The moment of the accident was recorded by a security camera belonging to a nearby business. Ibrahim Dilekçi, a shopkeeper who witnessed the event, stated that he and others rushed out after hearing the crash.
“We ran to the vehicles as soon as we saw the accident. We helped the passengers out of the car and tried to calm them down,” Dilekçi recounted.
