Drug Test Results for 15 Suspects in Istanbul Drug Investigation Revealed
Istanbul, June 6 – The drug test results for 15 suspects who provided samples to the Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK) as part of an ongoing drug investigation in Istanbul have been announced. The investigation targets individuals who facilitate, provide, or use drugs.
Investigation into Drug Use and Facilitation Continues
The Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office initiated the investigation into offenses related to “purchasing, accepting, or possessing drugs or stimulants for personal use” and “facilitating the use of drugs or stimulants.” As part of this probe, blood, urine, and hair samples were collected from Tuğçe Postoğlu, Onur Tuna, Özgür Deniz Cellat, Cansu Tekin, Zehra Hanzade Gürkanlar, Berkay Şahin, Mirgün Sırrı Cabas, Serenay Sarıkaya, Fatma Uludan Gugu, Hakan Aydın, Mehmet Rahşan, Kübra İmren Siyahdemir, Feyza Civelek, Osman Haktan Canevi, and Yaşar Özdaş. The Forensic Medicine Institute has since prepared a report detailing their findings.
Negative Results for Some Prominent Figures
According to the report, samples from Tuğçe Postoğlu, Cansu Tekin, Berkay Şahin, Mirgün Sırrı Cabas, and Serenay Sarıkaya yielded negative results for drug use. This indicates no traces of illicit substances were found in their systems.
Cannabis and Cocaine Traces Found in Others
However, the report revealed different findings for several other individuals. Actor Onur Tuna and digital content creator Özgür Deniz Cellat tested positive for cannabis. Digital content creator Zehra Hanzade Gürkanlar’s samples showed traces of cocaine and its metabolites.
Singer Fatma Uludan Gugu, also known as Niran Ünsal, had both cannabis and cocaine metabolites in her blood, urine, and hair samples. Hakan Aydın, known as Blok3, tested negative for drugs in his blood and urine samples, but cannabis was detected in his hair samples. Dermatologist Mehmet Rahşan’s blood test was negative, but cocaine and its metabolites were found in his urine and hair samples.
Basketball player Kübra İmren Siyahdemir’s blood, urine, and hair samples all tested positive for cannabis. Actress Feyza Civelek’s blood sample was negative, but cocaine and its metabolites were found in her urine and hair samples. Singer Osman Haktan Canevi’s samples showed traces of cannabis. Finally, Yaşar Özdaş’s blood and urine samples were negative, but cannabis was detected in his hair sample.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected to emerge as the legal process continues.
