Embraer Reaches Major Milestone: Over 9,000 Aircraft Delivered Worldwide
Istanbul, June 10 – Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has announced a significant achievement, surpassing 9,000 aircraft deliveries globally. Francisco Gomes Neto, President and CEO of Embraer, made the announcement during the company’s Media Day, emphasizing Embraer’s substantial growth and innovation in the aerospace industry over the past 25 years.
Neto stated, “Today, we have delivered more than 9,000 aircraft worldwide and continue to offer innovative solutions to our customers.” He highlighted the company’s continuous expansion of its product portfolio, which includes more than 20 new aircraft certified since 2000, covering commercial aviation, business jets, defense, and security sectors.
Global Reach and Extensive Operations
Embraer currently employs over 23,500 people globally and serves more than 2,000 customers. Its aircraft are utilized across a wide range of applications, from commercial airlines to government agencies and military users. To date, public institutions and armed forces in over 60 countries have chosen Embraer platforms.
“Embraer’s global operational network is strengthening every year,” Neto added, noting the company’s manufacturing, maintenance, training, and engineering activities across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Neto affirmed Embraer’s commitment to sustained global growth through its broad product portfolio, extending from commercial aviation to the defense industry. Beyond its main production bases in Brazil, Embraer operates in the USA, Portugal, France, the Netherlands, the UK, Singapore, India, the UAE, China, and Mexico. This global presence ensures closer customer relationships and uninterrupted after-sales support and training services.

“As a result of our R&D and innovation investments, we have registered over 900 patents in 7 different countries,” Neto revealed. He described this patent portfolio as a significant indicator of Embraer’s technological leadership and innovative approach in the global aviation sector.

Arjan Meijer, President and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation, highlighted Turkey as a very significant market for the company. “We are conducting discussions on this matter, whether through airlines or through subsidiaries in general,” Meijer stated, indicating potential future collaborations and expansions in the Turkish market.
