Global Tourism Leaders to Convene in Istanbul for TIF 2026

Istanbul, February 6 – The leading representatives of the global tourism sector will gather in Istanbul on February 10-11, 2026, for the Tourism Investment Forum (TIF 2026). This significant event will focus on the future of tourism investments and new opportunities within the sector. The forum, a key international platform for tourism investments, will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel Bosphorus.

The Tourism Investment Forum (TIF 2026) is hosted by the Turkish Tourism Investors Association (TTYD), a member of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). This year marks a significant milestone as the organization, which has received support from the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Investment Office since its inception in 2020, will be held for the first time under the main sponsorship of Türkiye İş Bankası.

Key Highlights and Participants

The forum is expected to bring together leading investors, financial institutions, and decision-makers from the global tourism sector. Over two days, approximately 30 sessions will be held, featuring more than 100 speakers and over 1,500 high-level participants. TIF 2026 has become a crucial reference point for both Turkish and global tourism due to its comprehensive scope, significant impact, and the caliber of its participants.

According to WTTC reports, the global tourism ecosystem is projected to reach 11.7 trillion dollars in 2025 and 16.5 trillion dollars by 2035. TIF 2026 will unite all stakeholders in this ecosystem, offering investors, banks, funds, global hotel brands, international thought leaders, technology innovators, and real estate development companies a unique opportunity to examine investment opportunities in Turkey.

Agenda and Strategic Discussions

The forum will address strategies that will shape the future of tourism and travel investments. Key topics on the TIF 2026 agenda include finance, new investment trends, luxury and lifestyle brands, culture and art, and health and medical tourism. These discussions aim to provide valuable insights and foster collaborations that will drive the industry forward.

The event underscores Istanbul’s growing importance as a hub for international conferences and a strategic location for fostering global economic partnerships. The gathering of such influential figures is anticipated to generate significant interest and potential investments in the region’s tourism sector.
