Following the Ankara draws, attention has now shifted to Istanbul, where 100,000 social housing units are planned to be constructed across both the Asian and European sides of the city. The draws aim to determine the rightful owners of these homes, built with a horizontal architectural approach and designed to reflect traditional neighborhood structures.
Applicants who have successfully qualified for the Istanbul TOKİ lottery will be able to follow the live draws, which are expected to be broadcast via YouTube. Following the draws, the lists of successful applicants will be made available for inquiry.

TOKİ has announced that lists of both accepted and rejected applications for the Istanbul housing project will be published on its official website. For the 500,000 social housing units, installment payments are set to commence in the month following the contract signing. This provides a clear timeline for beneficiaries to plan their finances.
Regarding the key delivery process, TOKİ has outlined a detailed schedule. The initial deliveries of the homes are officially slated to begin in March 2027. This marks a significant milestone for the project, offering a tangible timeframe for new homeowners.
Project Details and Eligibility Criteria
The housing units will be designed as 2+1 and 1+1 configurations, emphasizing a horizontal architectural style that integrates with traditional neighborhood aesthetics. The project includes special quotas for various groups:
- Martyr’s relatives, veterans, and disabled individuals: 5% quota
- Families with three or more children: 10% quota
- Retirees and young people aged 18-30: 20% quota
To be eligible for the project, applicants must be at least 18 years old, Turkish Republic citizens for a minimum of 10 years, and neither they, their spouse, nor their children should own a registered home.
