Man Found Dead in Car Trunk in Bağcılar, Istanbul

Istanbul, May 23 – A man, identified as Hüseyin Yalçın, the owner of a home textile store, was discovered dead in the trunk of his car in Bağcılar, Istanbul. The alarming discovery was made by his colleagues after he failed to report for work.

Suspicious Discovery in Mahmutbey Neighborhood

The incident took place on 2660 Street in Mahmutbey Neighborhood, Bağcılar. Yalçın, who owned a store in a shopping center, did not show up for work in the morning, causing concern among his employees. Unable to reach him by phone, his colleagues began searching for him.

One employee spotted Yalçın’s car parked near the shopping center. Upon approaching the vehicle, they saw him lying motionless in the trunk through the car’s windows. After attempts to get a response by knocking on the car’s doors and windows failed, they immediately notified emergency services.

Emergency Services Respond to the Scene

Police, fire, and health teams were dispatched to the scene. Finding the car doors locked, the teams broke a window to gain entry. Upon opening the trunk, they found Yalçın unresponsive. Medical personnel confirmed that he had passed away.

The tragic news brought his colleagues and relatives to tears at the scene. Crime Scene Investigation teams conducted a detailed examination of the car and the body. Yalçın’s body was subsequently transported to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death.

Ongoing Investigation

Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Yalçın’s death. Further details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses and forensic reports are completed.
