Ankara, May 9 – Simultaneous operations targeting the armed criminal organization known as ‘Soulless’ resulted in the detention of eight suspects across six provinces, with six of them subsequently arrested. The suspects are linked to armed attacks on entertainment venues. According to official statements, a total of eleven individuals, including the organization’s leaders, managers, and members, have now been imprisoned as part of the ongoing investigation.
Six Suspects Arrested in Multi-Province Crackdown
The operations, which were centered in Ankara and extended to six other provinces, led to the arrest of six out of eight suspects. These individuals were identified as members of the ‘Soulless’ criminal organization.
The investigation into the ‘Soulless’ organization began on December 12, 2025, following an armed attack on an entertainment venue in Ankara on December 9, 2025. The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, in coordination with the Ankara Organized Crime Branch Directorate, initiated the initial operation. This initial phase led to the arrest of five suspects, including the organization’s leaders and managers.
Further investigations revealed that the ‘Soulless’ organization had carried out armed attacks on businesses in four different provinces. Consequently, on May 6, simultaneous operations were conducted against 14 individuals across six provinces, resulting in the detention of eight suspects. Searches at the suspects’ homes and workplaces uncovered two unlicensed pistols, magazines, and numerous rounds of ammunition.
Following their processing at the Organized Crime Branch Directorate, the eight suspects – identified by their initials R.K., K.Ç., A.A., T.K., A.C.E., A.D., A.M.K., and Ş.Ö. – were referred to judicial authorities. Six of them were subsequently arrested.
Total of 11 Organization Members Imprisoned
As a result of both operations against the armed criminal organization, a total of eleven individuals, comprising the organization’s leaders, managers, and members, have been imprisoned.
The ‘Soulless’ organization was found to operate with a clear hierarchy, executing planned actions against numerous entertainment venues in multiple provinces. The ongoing efforts by law enforcement aim to dismantle such criminal networks and ensure public safety.
