ISTANBUL, April 24 – A suspect was apprehended by police in Pendik for allegedly loading a gun magazine on his balcony. The individual, identified as S.B. (44), was later released under judicial control by the court.
Incident Unfolds in Fatih Neighborhood
The incident occurred on April 22 in the Fatih Neighborhood of Pendik. Istanbul Police Department teams initiated an investigation after footage circulated on social media showing a man loading a gun magazine on his home balcony. Police treated the footage as a tip-off and identified the suspect.
Suspect Identified and Arrested
Following the identification, police launched an operation and arrested S.B. (44) at his residence. During the search of his home, an unlicensed weapon, a magazine, and 50 rounds of ammunition were seized.
Released Under Judicial Control
After processing at the police headquarters, the suspect, S.B., was referred to the courthouse. The court subsequently released him under judicial control, pending further legal proceedings.
