Turkish Gendarmerie and Coast Guard to Recruit 3,635 Officers and NCOs

ANKARA, (DHA) – The Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy Presidency has announced that 3,635 personnel, comprising 3,395 contracted non-commissioned officers for the Gendarmerie General Command and 200 contracted non-commissioned officers along with 40 contracted officers for the Coast Guard Command, will be recruited.

Extensive Recruitment Across Various Branches

As per the announcement published in the Official Gazette, the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy will recruit 3,395 non-commissioned officers for the Gendarmerie General Command. This includes 3,164 male and 231 female personnel across various branches such as gendarmerie, engineering, communication, supply, maintenance, personnel, finance, and health.

For the Coast Guard Command, 200 non-commissioned officers will be employed, consisting of 180 male and 20 female personnel. These positions are available in branches including deck, machinery, supply, information technologies, and administration. Additionally, 40 contracted officers, 33 male and 7 female, will be recruited for the Coast Guard Command, bringing the total number of contracted officers and non-commissioned officers to 3,635.

Application Process and Deadlines

Applications for these positions began today, January 26, 2026, and will continue until February 9, 2026, at 23:59. Interested candidates can apply through the “https://vatandas.jandarma.gov.tr/PTM/Giris” internet address via the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy Presidency Personnel Recruitment System (PTS) using e-Devlet (e-Government) services.
