Istanbul, March 29 – A fire that broke out in a warehouse containing scrap materials in the Bahçelievler district of Istanbul was successfully extinguished by fire department teams. The incident occurred in Yenibosna Merkez Mahallesi, Türkgücü Street, where a three-story building had an adjacent warehouse.
Fire Spreads to Adjacent Building
The fire, which started for an unknown reason, quickly grew in intensity and spread to the first floor of the adjacent residential building. Upon noticing the fire, citizens promptly alerted the residents of the building, ensuring their safe evacuation.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene immediately after the report. Their swift intervention brought the blaze under control and eventually extinguished it. Although the fire caused damage to the building, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
Investigation into the Cause of the Fire
The exact cause of the fire remains unknown and is currently under investigation. Authorities will be working to determine how the fire started in the scrap material warehouse.
