In line with Ankara’s designation as the 2026 Turkish World Tourism Capital by the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has organized the “Young Art: 7th Poster Design Competition” with the theme “Capital Ankara.” The competition aims to highlight the city’s historical, cultural, and touristic values while supporting young designers.
Ankara: A Visual Narrative of Turkic Heritage
The competition seeks to visually articulate Ankara’s historical, cultural, artistic, and touristic richness. As a city nestled in the heart of Anatolia and the Turkish War of Independence, Ankara is recognized as one of the rare cities reflecting the shared memory of the Turkic world.
Significant Prizes for Creative Minds
The competition aims to raise social awareness through designs that effectively represent the “Capital Ankara” theme. A total of 465,000 Turkish Liras will be distributed in prizes. Five designers will receive a success award of 30,000 Liras each, five designers will be granted an honorable mention award of 15,000 Liras each, and 30 designers whose works are selected for exhibition will receive 8,000 Liras each.
