Young Man from Kurtalan Dies in Work Accident in Ankara

Ankara, April 19 – Bilal Çakır, a 25-year-old man from Saipbeyli (Beybo) village in Siirt’s Kurtalan district, tragically lost his life yesterday evening in a work accident in Ankara’s Etimesgut district. The incident occurred while Çakır was working, and he was caught under a landslide.

Tragic Accident Claims Young Life

According to information obtained, the young worker was buried under a landslide that occurred during his work. Despite all efforts, he could not be rescued. The tragic news brought great sorrow to Çakır’s family and his hometown of Kurtalan.

Funeral and Condolences

Bilal Çakır’s body was brought to his hometown and laid to rest in Gözpınar village, Kurtalan. Condolences for Çakır are being accepted at Kudret Mosque in Batman.

The incident highlights the ongoing concerns about workplace safety. Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
