Güdül Municipality Provides Support Payments to 151 Livestock Breeders

ANKARA (AA) – Güdül Municipality has disbursed support payments to 151 livestock breeders in the region. The initiative, part of the “Veterinary Services Project” carried out in collaboration with the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, saw each eligible breeder receive 4,950 Turkish Liras.

According to a statement released by Güdül Municipality, the payments were deposited into the recipients’ “Başkent Kart” accounts. This program aims to bolster the local agricultural sector and provide financial relief to livestock producers.

Güdül Mayor Emphasizes Continued Support for Producers

Güdül Mayor Mehmet Doğanay affirmed the municipality’s ongoing commitment to supporting production, producers, labor, and rural development. “We will continue to stand by our producers, ensuring that their hard work and contributions to our local economy are recognized and supported,” Mayor Doğanay stated.

The support payments are expected to assist breeders in managing their operational costs and improving the welfare of their livestock. The “Veterinary Services Project” is a collaborative effort designed to enhance veterinary care access and provide essential resources to the livestock community in Güdül.

This initiative underscores the municipality’s dedication to fostering a sustainable and thriving agricultural environment within the district. The financial aid is particularly crucial for small and medium-sized livestock enterprises, which form the backbone of the local economy.

The partnership between Güdül Municipality and Ankara Metropolitan Municipality highlights a concerted effort to implement effective rural development strategies. Such projects are vital for maintaining the economic stability of agricultural communities and encouraging continued growth in the sector.

Further details regarding future support programs and the long-term impact of the “Veterinary Services Project” are anticipated to be released by the municipalities involved.
