Fire Erupts in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul
Istanbul, May 15 – A fire erupted in the attic of a 4-story building located on Devekuşu Street in Kanarya Mahallesi, Küçükçekmece. The fire, which started for an undetermined reason, quickly escalated, engulfing the entire attic apartment. Fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene following the alarm.
No Casualties Reported, Residents Evacuated
Residents of the apartment building were evacuated as a precautionary measure. One individual, identified as the owner of the attic apartment, suffered a nervous breakdown due to the panic but was calmed by those around. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

Saide Fidan, a local resident, described the scene: “We saw the crowd and rushed over. There were huge flames. The house was burning fiercely. The firefighters came and put it out. We haven’t heard of any deaths or injuries.”
