Küçükçekmece Mayor Inspects New Cultural Facilities and Renovations
Küçükçekmece, April 14 – Mayor Kemal Çebi conducted inspections yesterday at the Sefaköy Culture and Art Center, where ongoing projects are underway, and visited the recently established Adnan Özyalçıner Children’s Library. These initiatives underscore the municipality’s commitment to enhancing cultural and educational opportunities for its residents.
Sefaköy Culture and Art Center Sees New Additions
During his visit, Mayor Çebi toured the new “Kafe K” set to open within the Sefaköy Culture and Art Center. He highlighted the significance of increasing the number of social spaces where young people and citizens can gather and interact. This new café aims to provide a vibrant community hub within the cultural complex.
Yusuf Ahıskalı Library Expands Capacity
Another key stop for Mayor Çebi was the Yusuf Ahıskalı Library, which has undergone significant renovations to expand its capacity. The seating capacity of the library has been increased from 42 to 154, aiming to provide comfortable service to a larger number of book lovers. This expansion is expected to significantly improve access to literary resources for the community.
Adnan Özyalçıner Children’s Library Opens its Doors
Mayor Çebi also met with young readers at the Adnan Özyalçıner Children’s Library, which marks the 11th library to open in the district. This new facility is dedicated to fostering a love for reading among children, providing a dedicated space for their intellectual development and imagination.
