Two-Storey Villa Fire Extinguished in Silivri, Istanbul

Istanbul, June 16 – A fire that erupted in a two-storey villa in Istanbul’s Silivri district yesterday, June 15, was successfully brought under control by fire department teams. The blaze, which quickly spread to the roof of an adjacent villa, resulted in one firefighter suffering from smoke inhalation. An investigation into the cause of the fire has been initiated.

Fire Erupts in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi

The incident occurred around 5:00 PM yesterday in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi, Boy Sokak. Flames were seen rising from a two-storey villa for an as-yet-unknown reason. The fire rapidly intensified and spread to the roof of a nearby villa. Residents immediately reported the incident, prompting the dispatch of fire, emergency medical, and police teams to the scene.

Firefighters Battle Blaze, One Injured

Fire crews worked diligently to extinguish the inferno. During the operation, one firefighter was affected by smoke inhalation. The villa where the fire originated was rendered unusable. Authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire.
